Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP) says there is need for a leadership that will aspire to transform the country both socially and economically.
FODEP Executive Director MacDonald Chipenzi says the trend of some politicians changing political parties in the name of spearheading development does not inspire confidence of the future generations.
Chipenzi says there is need of a leadership that will stand its ground in propelling economic emancipation of the country.
The FODEP Executive Director has since called on youths in the country to rise to the challenge and seek a leadership that prioritizes the country.
He says recent developments in the political system have exposed the growing desire by some leaders to pursue political office for personal interests.
Chipenzi further explains that if Zambia is to thrive economically, there is need for a crop of leaders that will put the needs of the people first and their interests last.
