United Party for National Development (UPND) Feira candidate Eularia Zulu has expressed optimism of winning the June 20 polls.
Zulu is the only female candidate participating in the Feira by-election.
She said if she scoops the Feira polls she will endeavor to bring the much needed development in the constituency.
Zulu noted that her being born and bread in Luangwa District, she understands better the needs of people than any other candidate taking party in the by-election.
She further noted it is disappointing that despite Luangwa being only two hundred and fifty kilometers away from the capital city, it still lags behind in terms of development.
She said as soon as she gets into parliament she will convene a meeting with the people of Feira and make a baseline survey to see how she will work to bring about development in the area.
