The globe trotting Zambian First Lady Christine Kaseba is in Malaysia on one of her now routine international trips that have made her a rare sight in the country.
Dr Kaseba has been on a globe merry go round hopping from continent to another attending any imaginable health conference.
Her latest excursion has taken her to Kuala Lumpar where she will until June 15 be, barely a few days after returning from New York on another expedition.
During the last sitting of Parliament, the PF engineered budgetary allocation to the First Lady’s office that met stiff resistance from the opposition law makers but the ruling party strong armed its way and passed the budget.
Opposition lawmakers had contended that since the office of the First Lady was not a constitutional office there was no need to allocate tax payers’ money to Dr Kaseba.
