Four people have died in a road traffic accident on the Mongu/Lusaka road in a road traffic accident involving a minibus Rosa and a light canter truck.
The truck and the bus collided on the road in Namashashe area with 18 people sustaining injuries and hospitalized at Kaoma District Hospital.
Western Province Permanent Secretary Emmanuel Mwamba said part of the road was closed due to construction works and the accident may have been due to poor signage and visibility.
Mwamba said the accident occurred around 15:00 hours on Friday.
