Ngombe residents have protested against area member of parliament Jean Kapata for failing to provide clean water for the residents.
The residents who marched to the office of the councilor to express their displeasure, carried placards denouncing Kapata and called for clean and safe water in the area.
They claimed that ever since they voted Kapata in 2011, she has never visited them and that they do not even know how her face looks like.
But Kapata in response said the area does not have land where they can sink
boreholes to supply quality water.
She said if the residents have land available, they should let her know so that she can facilitate the sinking of a borehole.
