Kabwata Member of Parliament Given Lubinda has stealthily added his voice to the succession debate in the Patriotic Front by saying it is a very sickening topic.
Lubinda, who is a potential contender for the top job, has been covert about his aspirations but has opened up on the subject saying, “the debate about endorsing President Sata in 2016 is retrogressive. There is no need to endorse him because if he delivers by 2016 that debate will not be there,” Lubinda said.
“I am of the view that the debate is sick and does not need to drag on. I think those that are pushing it have a very serious agenda.”
Defence Minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba has weaved a vicious presidential bid under the guise of endorsing President Sata granting him full access to all the PF structures across the country while his nemesis Wynter Kabimba has also been mobilizing to match up the bid using his network as party Secretary General.
