Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) executive director Andrew Nthewewe has charged that the performance of the judiciary under the Patriotic Front (PF) administration has been pathetic. Nthewewe says the insistence to keep Justice Lombe Chibesakunda as acting chief justice raises suspicions on the motive of the PF government. He says it is vital that as Parliament resumes sitting this month; the President should consider submitting another name for ratification as Chief justice.
