The case involving former Zambia Red Cross Society Human Resource Manager Charles Mushitu failed to take off today in the Lusaka Magistrate Court.
Mushitu and two others are accused of obtaining credit by false pretences.
When the matter came up for plea the state applied for an adjournment as they sought to alter the indictment.
Mushitu is accused of having facilitated the receipt of K28 million kwacha to Florence Tembo on the pretext that the latter was a Zambia Red Cross employee.
Magistrate Jennipher Bwalya adjourned the matter to October, 2.
