
And Dr Mumba urged the people of Mufumbwe district to vote for the MMD candidate in this Thursday Parliamentary by- election.
The MMD leader said he wants to meet President Sata so that he could explain in detail which money he (Dr Mumba) stole from the Church.
Dr Mumba was speaking at the part’s final campaign rally to drum up support for MMD candidate in the Mufumbwe Parliamentary by-election, Stafford Mulusa, in Mufumbwe.
Commenting on allegations that he abandoned his church to pursue his selfish interest, Dr Mumba revealed that he is still the leader of his church which now has 52 branches.
Meanwhile, Dr Mumba says he is not bitter but upset with the way the PF is running the affairs of the country.
The MMD leader charged that the country is poised for serious economic challenges ahead of the alleged under-performance on the part of the PF government.
Speaking at the same rally, MMD Chairman for Finance and Economic Affairs, Situmbeko Musokotwane said when the MMD left office after the 2012 general elections, it left behind US $2.6 billion in the treasury, but the PF government has reduced the amount to US $2.3billion.
