Nurses have called off their strike but have set December 22 as the deadline for government to address their grievances.
The nurses that have been on strike for over eight days met on Sunday and agreed to return to work to allow government attend to their demands.
However, they have promised to resume the strike action if government fails to meet their demands.
The nurses are demanding that the distortions in the salary structure be addressed and also want a 100 percent salary increment to be buttressed by a night duty and housing allowance.
