Vice President Guy Scott says Clive Chirwa is making silly public pronouncements by threatening to renounce his citizenship if he is not allowed to go and mourn former South African President Nelson Mandela.
Scott said he would not waste his time over Chirwa’s pronouncements.
“Clive Chirwa should stop making silly public pronouncements that I will throw away my citizenship, so what?” scoffed Scott.
Professor Chirwa a former PF late comer has fallen from grace after his brief stint as Zambia Railways Managing Director came crashing down following allegations of graft against him.
He was dismissed and is facing corruption charges in court with his passport confiscated by the Zambian authorities thereby grounding him.
