The Zambian Voice says People’s Party president Mike Mulongoti should reflect on his role in the constitution making process when he was in government.
Zambian Voice Executive Director Chilufya Tayali said Mulongoti had exhibited similar arrogance as the PF when he was Information Minister.
“We should also be careful with people like Mulongoti want to come out like they are champions of the constitution making process. He was very arrogant and dismissive of every argument advanced by the civil society on the constitution,” Tayali said.
“Let us open our eyes because these are people who have brought us where we are. So we ask him to reflect on his behaviour.”
Tayali said leaders should learn to use their time in power to advance the cause of the people so that they do not have to regret once they live office.
