The Zambia Wildlife Association has arrested seven people in Livingstone after being caught with four live pangolins, 30 elephant tails, ivory and ivory products.
Among the arrested is a ZAWA officer identified as Manix Malambo, Victor Mubiana and Reuben Muyabo who were found trying to sell the live pangolins.
ZAWA has also arrested Gertrude Simasiku and Yamba Musole who were found in possession of raw ivory with Chris Bwalya and Weluzani Zulu arrested for having 30 elephant tails and six ivory bungles.
The accused have been detained and will appear in court next week.
