Patriotic Front supporters led by Willie Nsanda clashed with former defence minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba’s supporters at Shoprite after word went round that GBM is set to join Opposition UPND any day.
During the fracas, PF chief hooligan and RDA Board Chairman Willie Nsanda was physically involved in the clashes and has since been reported to the police for slapping a rival.
The PF in Kasama has embarked on a crusade to de-campaign GBM’s supporters saying he is linked UPND.
This came to light during a meeting held at Kasama’s Buseko Hall whose attendance included two members of the central committee- namely Willie Nsanda and Freedom Sikazwe as well as two Provincial Executive Committee members; Everist Chela and Chomba Chipili among others.
And speaking shortly after the meeting, Provincial PF Secretary Everist Chela said the meeting was aimed at sensitizing party members on allegation that GBM has joined UPND.
