Opposition Movement for Multi Party Democracy has rebutted sentiments by Vice President Guy Scott that it is a dead party.
MMD Deputy National Secretary Chembe Nyangu said Scott had a lot to be grateful for the former ruling party for having made him what he is.
Scott told the people of Katuba Constituency during the by-election campaigns that the electorates should avoid voting for dead parties.
But Nyangu said the people of Katuba would shame Scott for his sentiments by voting for the MMD candidate.
Ironically the PF had lured former MMD MP Patrick Chikusu before his death to serve in their government.
Chikusu was lauded as a hard working MP at his death by President Michael Sata.
