Patriotic Front Secretary General Wynter Kabimba says there is nothing he can do about PF cadres locking up offices of government officers as he is not a police officer.
And Lusaka Province youth chairperson Kennedy Kamba said he had advised the youths to withdraw their action until fresh instructions were issued from the party hierarchy.
Commenting on PF cadres that locked up offices at the Road Traffic and Safety Agency yesterday, Kabimba said while the behaviour amounted to lawlessness he could do nothing about it.
“You see that behaviour amounts to lawlessness but I cannot do anything sir, I am not a police officer,” he said.
“I may not even know those people but please it is up to the police to do something about that situation.”
Meanwhile, Kamba said the cadres had been told to cease fire until the party issued fresh instructions.
“We have discovered that some RATSA officers are working with the opposition and some police officers to discredit the PF government.
“We are still compiling facts and have told our cadres to withdraw until new instructions are issued from the secretariat.”
