Open Society Foundation (OSF) has demanded to know where the final draft constitution is and when it will be handed over to the President and members of the public simultaneously.
Speaking during a media briefing in Lusaka today, OSF Deputy Executive Director for Northern Region Levy Sakala says his organization remains committed to champion for the speedy enactment of the new republican constitution.
Sakala says there is need for government and the relevant stakeholders to speak one voice over the constitution stating that the current occurrences are not pleasing.
Sakala says the people of Zambia will not accept any excuses from the government over the constitution because they are determined to have a new constitution.
Speaking at the same event, OSF Executive Director, Sunday Chanda, says his organization has committed itself to save Zambia and will not relent in speaking for the voiceless in the country.
Chanda says youth unemployment remains high and that there is need to address this challenge with boldness.
