President Michael Sata’s useless tag for his ministers has got to Home Affairs deputy minister Stephen Kampyongo who has welcomed the label as a call to work hard.
Kampyongo said he had no problem with being described as useless because that was President Sata’s way of communicating.
He said the opposition should not delight in tormenting the ‘useless’ ministers but focus on their political parties.
“The President is within his right to call some ministers useless because that is his way of urging us to double our efforts,” he said.
“Opposition leaders like madam Edith Nawakwi should concentrate on re-organizing their parties and bring it back to where it was before. We know what FDD used to be.”
He said that MPs would double their efforts so that they are not described as useless.
