With politically induced changes being rung in the judiciary, President Michael Sata is set to elevate Solicitor General Musa Mwenye to Attorney General while the usually uncompromising Mumba Malila will be neutralized with an elevation to the Supreme Court.
According to sources within the judiciary, President Michael Sata is courting Pretoria University law professor Michelo Hansungule as a possible replacement for Mwenye.
With the highly politicized cases against former Republican President Rupiah Banda President Sata is looking to shunt Director of Public Prosecution Mutembo Nchito at the High Court.
The makeover in the judiciary is a result of growing ‘diobedience’ among some judges who have shown resistence to being remote controlled by President Michael Sata’s puppeteers in Fred M’membe, Wynter Kabimba and Nchito.
