Zambia Reports has discovered the identites of two Kenyans who were illegally brought into the country by Patriotic Front Secretary General Wynter Kabimba to conduct Parallel Vote Tabulation (PVT) during the 2011 elections. The two have since been rewarded for their efforts by being given a contract to transport petroleum products under the controversial Trafigura Oil contract.
The two together with Kabimba run a company called Midland Energy Zambia Limited. The other shareholder Silvester Mwanza is First Secretary at Zambia’s Embassy in Washington.
Mwanza prior to the 2011 elections offered his house at Plot No 6090/1 Manchinchi Road in Northmead as the PVT centre. The house according to Zambia Reports investigations is still being used by the PF as a Data collection center.
According to documents available at the Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA), The two Kenyans are Noor Aden Issack of 11 Floor Hazina Towas Nairobi of Passport number A1675436 and Noor Abdi Ali of the same address but of Passport Number B035943.
Recently Kabimba, now Acting Republican President admitted on national television that he broke the law and smuggled in Kenyans to help the PF with PVT without following immigration procedures.
In 2012, the UK newspaper The Guardian reported on an investigation into Kabimba for allegedly taking bribes to award the $500 million contract.
See attached PACRA document.
