Former Zambia Wildlife Authority (ZAWA) Director General Zen Vlahakis has died. Mr. Vlahakis died in Lusaka yesterday.
A family member has told Zambia Reports that Mr. Vlahakis has been in the hospital for two weeks.
He is said to have died of Renal Failure. Mr Vlahakis was appointed as ZAWA Director General by former Tourism Minister Sylvia Masebo.
When Masebo was fired new Tourism Minister Jean Kapata fired Vlahakis and replaced him with Kombe the legal counsel.
