On Friday afternoon President Michael Sata chased Eastern Province MMD Members of Parliament from State House after they escorted Chiefs from their constituencies.
Lumezi member of parliament Isaac Banda, Vincent Mwale of Chipangali, Sinda MP Levy Ngoma and David Phiri of Mkaika Constituency among others opposition MPs went to State House in the company of 18 Chiefs whom President Sata invited for a meeting.
However, after noticing their presence he asked them to leave to leave the building.
“And you, what are you doing here? What do you want, you can go,” President Sata said as two of the MPs Isaac Banda and Vincent Mwale left the building.
Letter the President held a closed door meeting with the chiefs from Katete, Chadiza, Chipata and Lundazi.
Among the chiefs were Induna, Joseph Chikuta, who represented Paramount Chief Kalonga Gawa Undi, Chief Mbang’ombe and Chief Kathumba.
Also present were Chief Mlolo, Chief Zingalume, Chief Pembamoyo, Chief Mwangala, Chief Chanje, Chief Mkanda and Chief Mafuta.
The rest were Senior Chief Mwase, Chief Mwase Mpangwe, Chief Chikomeni, Chief Mwanya, Chief Zumwanda, Chief Chitungulu, Chief Kapichila and Chief Kazembe.
