Zambia’s Nkana could make the last four of the CAF Confederation Cup with only a draw in their last match against Sewe Sport of Ivory Coast.
This is after the Zambian champions defeated the giants of Egypt, Al Ahly, 1-0 in Kitwe on Saturday and got a major boost when Sewe Sport beat Etoile du Sahel 1-0 away in Tunisia.
Saturday’s round five matches of pool B sent Nkana to seven points in second place while Al Ahly still command the top position with a point advantage while Sewe Sport are third on six points with Etoile du Sahel fourth on four points.
Billy Mwanza scored an important goal from a penalty on Saturday to secure Nkana the win.
Nkana will travel to Abidjan for the final fixture set for August 23 against Sewe Sport.
