Zambia-NigerZambians have come out strong calling the Football Association of Zambia names after it carried an article on it’s facebook page headlined “Zambia Keeps Afcon Hopes Alive With Goalless Draw” following a disappointing result in the 2015 Africa Cup qualifiers

FAZ reported Zambia kept alive their hopes of qualifying to the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations with a goalless draw registered against Niger in a Group F third round qualifying match played in Niamey on Saturday.

This was the second goalless draw for the 2012 Afcon Champions who maintain third position with two points from three matches.

But the reported did not amuse the majority of nearly 600 comments that followed especially that it puts Zambia in an awkward position needing to win all their remaining chances for a realistic chance to qualify.

Here are some of the selected comments

Jindrack John: This headline confirms that there is no thinking at football house in terms of football management. This headline shows that some chap is impressed with the result. Why cant the person responsible for the management of this site simply say ”Zambias hopes of qualifying to morroco suffer a set back as they draw with some small west african team.”

Chomba Vainess Jade VACANCIES AT FOOTBALLHOUSE/ JOBOPPORTUNITIES.1. #FAZ_President- must be living in Zambia NOT SouthAfrica.2. #COACH- must have played for Nkana, Mighty, Power 90 orWarriors, able to READ notwatching the game, make rightsubs, knowledge of playersespecially SATE-SATE will be anadded advantage. 3. #PLAYERS – must have original birthcertificate, no agecheating, able to play against anyteam.4. #LOGISTICS officer- able to charter a plane in advance andtake players at least 3days b4thegame not taking officials 5daysb4the game for shopping. All applications should beaddressed to the Soccer fans.Closing date- before we lose toNiger.

Kendric Blings Brown And let me warn u fi FAZ…….We are geared to storm d stadium with stones packed in our Headsocks.Should u lose mukapapa sana!

Bongani Muchele Musonda Janza,I commend your tactics and they produced a beautiful style of football. I don’t blame you for trusting the players you chose(that’s if you really chose them). The game play was a bit slow and the urgency wasn’t there some of the time. As for the formation, lovely stuff! It was deemed boring because of the lack of goals.. As for you FAZ,learn something from SAFA and develop grass roots soccer from its disgraceful state and get better support from Nike! They should provide equipment and other sports equipment to aid the development of grass roots soccer in Zambia. We are decades behind! Wake up!

Kaluwazhi Yukani I think something is wrong at FAZ!!!! u are fooling the zambian people by saying keeping hopes alive. this was the most pathetic performance by the national team and yet u are busy praising them!!!!! u need to be apologising to the faithful Chipolopolo fans. by the way, how much were u paid to fix this match? this is a proper case for FIFA to investigate coz it had all the signs of a match that is fixed!!!!

Gabriel Zulu FAZ,KALU u are a disgrace 2 the nation.SATE SATE has been top scorer in the zed league yet u play chamanga.

Jacob Jey Mbewe #Hop! r u kidng me. Poor selection of players, poor reading of the game, poor oganisng of the players by our coach #Janza! Above all its poor ognising of football at national level by #FAZ! Am #1 fun 4 de #coppr_Bullets

Victor Chazya @ ba kalu, you dog together with yo goat janza. Y can u introduce such starting line up…..FAZ re all rubbish nosence. Thus y abakulu bakulu,,
,experienced players re most important .. ,,,i support de words of katongo Christopher…………FAZ COMMITTEE, BAFIKALA,,…,

Kelvin Trudeau Musako Please ba FAZ lets stop cheating! Enough is Enough! That was a poor result and you know it. Please let Janza do his job and select his own players. We need fresh blood in the team. Or maybe I should be given the chance to coach the National team. I don’t have papers but I think I can pick a better team than Janza. Kalaba too many off sides can’t even pass the ball anymore, Mweene is too fat, Chamanga was lost like an orphan, Nathan Sinkala no competition so too much taka taka in the midfield. Mayuka just earning pounds for mahala at Southampton. Mbola no proper club record, Jacob injured always, Chris Katongo and Fwayo have become Nomads. I mean how can you qualify with players who don’t perform for their clubs? Meanwhile here in Zambia we have players who are getting the goals day in day out but can’t be called to play for the National Team. We need to stop living on past glory” You said it yourself ba Kalu.” Please Ba Kalu am begging you, let me coach the National team maybe just maybe things can change. But seriously lets take a leaf from South Africa and rebuild our team. Icimuti nga cafilwa ukutwala, kuci tema! If a tree cant bear fruit cut it down.

Patrick Binali football standards are going down because of poor administration by kalu.single sourcing and these are the results now. We do’t deserve this embarassment 50 years after independence ba2012 Afcon champions.

Elton Lubinga How very preposterous of you pathetic goons? Is that the way you want cover up mediocre performance? When others are securing their place in the afcon through dedication, hard work, fortitude etcetera zambia is only keeping hopes alive! We want change or admit failure to manage such important national duties and thus keep our hopes alive by resigning on moral and public interest. This thing about past glory is worse than ebola. Leave the stage now because the audience has quit clapping all you guys in admin right thru to the tired legs! Let’s show show the entire football structure how displeased we are by adopting a colour to wear on Wednesday (#proposeRED)

Agrippa Satulila Ba sata nd kambwili pliz disolv de FAZ comitee.start 4rom kalu 2 nkweto,2 har ndeke 4rom here 2 niger insted of using dis money sponsor de students who ar on basary ,slepin, eating in expensv hotel 4mahala nd bring back fukiyo results.

Golden Mwampondela Masandube Pliz Kalu stop imposin some1 u lik jst adverts th Job and let th will of th pipo prevail.dan givn us ama BP rememba u ar usin our money so shud account 4 it.there z too much corruption @ FAZ..jst wastin tax payers money!

Situmbeko Situmbeko I pity you people at FAZ. The problem is with government poor organization of sports more especially at school level, and lack of support to sport.

Dennis Banda FAZ NO BRIANZ, FULL OF IDIOTS. Get out!!

Chisanga Mwalula USELESS! everything FAZ,coaches and players all useless!

Humphrey Mushili First before I proceed to shoot the players and the coach, where on earth can u win a match where u are too slow, poor passes, you are putting pressure on yo opponents, you want to play in your own half? Faz must employ Nico on full time as coach to drill under 17 and under 20 for the AFCON qualifiers of 2017 and world cup 2018 and give him the objective of those two things while there is time, this current crop of players will be irrelevant to the two events have mentioned.

Gibson Nc’ito Habib KalabA’s yrs are done, we need situmbeko and the likes of musakanya. Old legs shud imitate gerarrd and retire. In zambia pipo have to be forced. Kale abantu have been calling for change of the team. Bt stuborn kalu kips theses players. Let’s emulate Sa and cameroon. Does it mean our technical bench , kalu and janza can’t see the fruits that the mentioned teams are getting after reshuffling their teams? Yaba. Ifwi kula pelelafye muli yaaa. Ngaya chingila ilya !!! We nid goals. Not ama bp.

Winnie Handema Kalusha u are finished and u ar making wrong decides for zambia and u been making wrong ones y can’t u stop talking abt football jst back off for once and allow young pipo to play always sticking yo nose were it does belong u had yo time so let others try they best.
