Mukwita-KapataTourism Minister Jean Kapata has summed up the bad blood between The Post Newspapers and a segment of some top Patriotic Front officials by warning that the paper should stop behaving like they own the party.

Kapata said it was annoying for The Post Newspapers to label the PF as the most indiscipline party in the country when the paper was benefitting from its association with the PF.

Since the dismissal of PF Secretary General Wynter Kabimba, The Post Newspapers has mourned his exit while vilifying those they suspect to have engineered their preferred candidate for successor to President Michael Sata.

“Those claiming that PF is the most undisciplined must know that they enjoyed the goodwill of President Sata and the PF and must stop behaving like they own the party,” warned Kapata.

“The PF is not their party for them to continue weeping and mourning about the dismissal of their friend. Since their friend was fired, the PF had become tribal, corrupt, violent and undisciplined.”

The Mandevu lawmaker has said the newspaper had gone too far in thinking they could manipulate the PF.

“The media house has gone too far and let them know that we can easily stop them. They were tolerated by the previous governments and they thought they would manipulate the PF. Their time of reckoning is coming very soon,” said Kapata.
