The Zambian government and the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) have commenced the relocation of newly arrived Congolese refugees from Luapula Province near the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to North Western Province’s Meheba Refugee Settlement in Solwezi District, about 1,400 kilometres away, that already has facilities.
