Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba will have to work harder to survive his double dealing with doors closing in on every end after the Patriotic Front filed an injunction restraining him from enjoying his rights as a Member of Parliament on their ticket.
Mwamba, popularly known as GBM was appointed United Party for National Development Vice President but maintained that he will remain a Patriotic Front Member of Parliament.
President Edgar Lungu has also made it clear that Mwamba was no longer a PF member after joining the UPND.
PF legal committee chairperson for legal affairs Tutwa Ngulube said the party wanted the High Court to stop Mwamba from representing them in parliament as the Kasama lawmaker had crossed over to another political party.
He said that Mwamba should be man enough and carry through his joining the UPND all the way and not have his legs in two camps.
And President Lungu said the constitution was very clear on what happened whenever a Member of Parliament crossed floors.
He said that he will seek guidance from the Speaker of the National Assembly Patrick Matibini on the matter.
On Wednesday Matibini reserved ruling on the matter after Chipili Member of Parliament Davies Mwila rose on a point of order seeking clarity on the status of Mwamba who had joined the opposition UPND.
Meanwhile President Edgar Lungu has left for Uganda on a three day state visit.
