Transport minister Christopher Yaluma has confirmed receiving the report on the accident that claimed over 53 people promising to release it soon.
Yaluma said the report has given insight on what happened during the accident and recommendations of what is supposed to be done in future to prevent such tragic deaths.
He said he demanded to receive the report early so that government can take up measures that will prevent loss of lives in road traffic accidents.
Yaluma, however, said the comprehensive reports will be handed over on Sunday.
The road traffic accident involving a Zambia Postal Office bus, a truck and a land cruiser left over 50 people dead.
University Teaching Hospital has since discharged three surviving accident victims that were admitted there.
Hospital deputy public relations manager Kennedy Makukula has confirmed saying the remaining seven people are still in admission but in a stable condition.
