Opposition Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) vice president Micheal Kaingu has expressed great concern over the Patriotic Front government’s continued reckless spending of taxpayer’s money on Malawian High Court Judge Lovemore Chikopa when the tribunal he is supposed to chair has never sat.
Dr. Kaingu has charged that the PF government should rather spend the colossal sums of money it is spending on the up-keep of the Malawian Judge on alleviating the mealie meal crisis that has hit some parts of the country.
The Mwandi legislator has appealed to all well meaning Zambians in the country to express their concerns on the government’s use of their taxpayer’s money on an individual who is doing nothing, when there are needy areas deserving such resources.
He reiterated the need for the PF government to learn from how the previous MMD government prioritized food security in the country by ensuring adequate and constant supply of the country’s staple food across the country.
