Republican President Michael Sata has returned home from China where he had gone for a state visit on the invitation of the Chinese president.
Emirates plane carrying President Sata touched down at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at about 14:30 hours.
He was received by Home Affairs Minister Edgar Lungu, Defence Minister Geoffrey Mwamba and other senior government officials.
The President did not however give journalists a brief on his week-long visit to China.
President Sata wrapped up his seven-day state visit to China with a heightened call for Chinese investors to seize the excellent investment opportunities Zambia has before they run out.
