The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) has advised the Zambia Police Service to stop demonizing leaders from the opposition political parties in the country.
EFZ executive director Pukuta Mwanza notes it is worrying that the country has continued to record reports of the opposition being arrested and locked up by the Police.
Reverend Mwanza notes that the Police should realize that the opposition plays an important role in holding accountable the government on how it governs the country and that it would be retrogressive to harass the opposition whenever they exercise their democratic right to hold public meetings.
