Chief government spokesperson Kennedy Sakeni has says opposition political parties should engage in constructive criticism of government.
Sakeni says opposition political parties are free to criticize government, but that they should do so were necessary.
He cites the removal of the subsidy on petroleum products as one issue on which government has received unnecessary criticism from opposition political parties.
Sakeni, who is also Information and Broadcasting Services Minister, has since called on politicians to appreciate were issues are clear and keep quiet if they have nothing to say.
