Chipolopolo midfielder Rainford Kalaba has successfully undergone a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan on his injured right calf.
Kalaba has been ruled out of this Saturday’s world cup qualifier match against Lesotho.
Apart from Kalaba, Zambia will also miss the services of defence pillar Stopilla Sunzu who’s recovering from a knee operation.
Sunzu, who put his honeymoon on hold, is in camp to give support to his colleagues like suspended goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene. Mweene is serving a one match ban for a red card and will be back for Chipolopolo next week when Zambia take on Sudan.
