CourtLusaka High Court judge Justine Chashi has said there is a killer roaming the street that killed a Barclays Bank Zambia employee last year.

Judge Chashi said this when he acquitted two people that were charged with the murder of Thandiwe Longwe last year.

Longwe was killed on August last year after knocking off near her home in Ng’ombe area.

The duo, Spencer Soko, 33, of Kanyama and Matambezi Nalubwani, 41, a security guard of Makeni also charged with theft of some personal belongings for the deceased.

But judge Chashi noted that police investigations in the murder case were shoddy and that they failed to identify the killer who is still roaming the streets.

He said there was gross negligence of duty on the part of the police officers that investigated the case that failed to establish the case and identify the killers.
