The Food Agricultural Organisation (FAO) has promised to help farmers and contribute to the growth of the agricultural sector in Zambia.
This was after a donation of 14 tractors to the Zambia National Farmers Union (ZNFU) in Lusaka.
And ZNFU executive director Ndambo Ndambo has said the farming equipment will go a long way in sustaining the agricultural production in the country.
Ndambo said the tractors and their accessories will be helpful to farmers and will help many in their agricultural business.
He said ZNFU has never had an opportunity to receive 14 tractors from any orgnisation and that they will put them to good use.
