The Human Rights Commission has voiced out on the deteriorated conditions at Isoka Prison where the inmmates are locked up all day without being allowed to get air as per constitutional requirement. Human Rights Commission spokesperson Samuel Kasanka said the prisoners are subjected to beatings using whips made from tyres. The commission also said the inmates are denied visits by relatives, which has resulted in some who have been granted bail by the courts to fail to communicate with relatives so that sureties could sign them out.
