The parallel Patriotic Front Lusaka District executive committee says it has submitted an anti Wynter Kabimba petition to President Michael Sata.
Interim secretary Julius Komaki said Kabimba was wrong to think that the cadres would not forward their petition to State House.
“We want to inform the nation that we have forwarded the petition against Secretary General Wynter Kabimba to the President at State House and we are still waiting for a response,” Komaki said.
“We also take note that Kabimba insulted us that we are not PF members and are street kids when he was reacting to our protests. Even if we were street kids would that make us lower members of
PF? But we are not and were Patriotic Front members when he was still in ZRP.”
PF cadres on Friday afternoon marched through the Central Business District of Lusaka demanding the removal of Kabimba as Secretary General of the party.
