ChellahPresident Michael Sata’s spokesperson, George Chellah, says he will not sit idle and watch himself become a punching bag for scumbags following attacks on his person by ex-gospel singer Sidique Geloo.

Geloo, widely known in Lusaka circles following his singing ministry at Dan Pule’s Dunamis Christian Centre, caused the publication of a stinging attack on Chellah on the Zambian Watchdog and other social media network such as Facebook.

Sidique’s article headlined; Chellah and his blind loyalty to Kabimba branded the President’s spokesperson a stooge of the chief justice alleging the ex-Post Newspaper reporter had taken sides in the wrangles that had engulfed the ruling Patriotic Front.

Chellah was prompted to respond to the litany of allegations laid bare through a comment on his private facebook page which is occasionally on and off depending on the political heat.

“I like SIDIQUE GELOO for one thing; he has an exceptional flair of narrating events that never took place. He is a fraud, a gifted con artist and knows how to woo gullible minds.

“He descriptively writes and talks about me like we have ever met or even exchanged a greeting.

“Not that I care, but it troubles me to see such amounts of oomph getting wasted on sheer pettiness and immaturity.

“Get down to work Sidique, hating me won’t make you any better; it can only annoy you even further.

“It’s not wise to originate and be taken by your own propaganda. That’s mental lethargy!”

But when one of his friends Prody Kabamba advised him not to responded to “hateful” and “unfounded allegations” while keeping his temper cool more so that he was considered a role model, Chellah responded; “Am actually very calm. There comes a time when public figures gat to speak too. Public office won’t make me a punch bag for scumbags like Sidique.”

He further threatened Geloo with legal action in like manner one of President Michael Sata’s ministers and nephew Miles Sampa took action against a defunct gossip-based online publication Kachepa360.com.

Chellah said he would not hesitate to follow Geloo to Atlanta where he is based and currently leader of the Zambian Association based in that part of the United States of America.

“If he pushes his luck too far, I will handle him the way Hon. Miles Sampa dealt with KACHEPA 360. I will hit him with litigation right in ATLANTA, his base.

“This I promise and let him try me! The American society he squats in does not condone this pathetic lunacy he offloads online every day,” Chellah roared.

In another response when it looked certain Zambia Music Association president Maiko Zulu was attempting to pacify the tension among the warring parties, Chellah stated Geloo had raised serious allegations against his character.

“What he posted on ZPP wasn’t a debate. He was raising very serious allegations about my character and professional standing…of which he shall justify at some point if he continues with this immaturity and time-wasting antics,” he stated.

A seemingly brave friend Chishimba Chimba, who broke away from the praises Chellah was showered for dressing down his online nemesis Geloo, reminded the president’s spokesperson of his role as a reporter at The Post where he alleged fabricated news stories.

“Trading places Ba George. Remember your days at The Post Newspaper…The hunter, now the hunted…!!! Trading places,” Chimba stated but Chellah said; “I never wrote what [I] can’t defend, that’s the difference.”

Chellah and Geloo are not new to online spats have both clashed when the former, allegedly using a pseudo facebook account under the Saviour Kayula brand, attacked the latter’s alleged promiscuous lifestyle when he was a choir master at Pule’s church.
