Former Copperbelt Police Commissioner Mary Tembo finally appeared before the Ndola Magistrate Court on two counts of corruption.
Tembo, who last week shunned court attendance, was in court in Ndola as she took a plea of not guilty.
The former Copperbelt police chief is alleged to have received a Toyota Corolla from Grizzly Mining as inducement while in another count she is alleged to have serviced her Toyota Cressida on the pretext that it was a police car.
Tembo is currently on suspension pending the outcome of the case.
