PF-CadresThe opposition in North Western Province say they will teach the ruling Patriotic Front a lesson for seeking to silence vocal Members of Parliament from the area.

UPND provincial chairperson Victor Lumai said the nullification of Zambezi West and Solwezi Central MPs Charles Kakoma and Lucky Mulusa was a way of neutralizing what he deemed as “future leaders of the province”.

“The Western Province will respond to this victimization by not voting for the PF in the resultant by-elections. We are going to send a very clear message on what we think of these nullifications,” he said.

“We are the least developed province and they want us to be further backward by getting rid of the hardworking MPs we have.”

Lumai said the PF had not learnt anything from their loss in the Solwezi East by-election hence their audacious behaviour to press for more by-elections in the province.
