A pastor in Chinsali District of Muchinga Province has been arrested for stealing 81 x 50 kilogramme bags of maize under the Fertilizer Support Programme.
The clergyman identified as Ontario Shamulundu sold the bags that came into his possession by virtue of his being the chairperson for the Cooperative Union in the area.
Shamalundu admitted to the charge when he appearen in court and is set to return tomorrow for sentencing.
