Nominations for the Katuba Parliamentary by-election will take place today with six political parties unveiling their candidates.
The ruling Patriotic Front is fielding Moses Chilando while the UPND will have former deputy finance minister Jonas Shakafuswa with Alliance for a Better Zambia making their debut in by-elections with their vice president Patricia Mwashingwele.
The rest of the candidates are Cecil Holmes for MMD, Shakespeare Mwasamunu for the National Revolution Party and NAREP’s Joseph Mushalika.
The Katuba seat fell vacant following the death of incumbent MP Patrick Chikusu.
Poll date has been set for February, 25.
