guy-scott-zambiaVice President Guy Scott has breathed out the Patriotic Front anti Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba sentiment by telling the Kasama Central lawmaker to resign to avoid being hounded out of the ruling party.

Scott has also attacked former Information Permanent Secretary Emmanuel Mwamba as being behind postings for GBM’s facebook page.

Mwamba, whose resignation caused ripples in the PF’s Northern region power base, has taken a laid back position since resigning as Defence Minister but the PF top brass have been scheming to force him out through expulsion.

Scott told a media briefing that the PF had set their sights on another by-election in Kasama Central after the February, 25 Katuba by-election.

“I have to challenge Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba the former minister of defence to resign as a member of PF instead of us being forced to hound him out, let him resign,” he said.

“Let him do himself a favour and resign if he is man enough. We want to see when we go to Kasama who the leaders between others and us are. “

He said, “It is very simple challenge resign; we want to challenge you so that the people of Zambia can see. Some people are saying he is the only one who can deliver Northern Province and Bembaland.”

Scott further said, “Let him show us that he can use his friend Emmanuel Mwamba, the former PS as his election agent, the one who runs his facebook page.”
