Police in Lusaka have formally charged three Patriotic Front cadres for assault after their fracas with bus drivers after they took over some bus stations to collect levies.
The arrest of the trio who were cornered by police with the help of drivers adds to the growing list of PF cadres facing various charges in the courts of law for violence related conduct.
On Tuesday eight PF cadres were arrested with five others yet to be charged.
Other PF cadres are facing charges for beating up civil society and church leaders at BIGOCA Church in Matero; others are in court for intra party violence that left one cadre dead.
