President Michael Sata today abandoned his facebook mode of communication to directly call ZNBC and personally break his silence that he is in London to seek medical attention.
A sullen sounding Sata told ZNBC’s Kenneth Maduma that he was in London to woo investors he had met in Addis Ababa whose headquarters were in the United Kingdom.
However, President Sata, who prior to departure for Addis Ababa for the African Union summit, had been reluctant to disclose his destination for a 14 day holiday after speculation that he was on his way to India to seek medical attention surfaced.
President Sata told ZNBC that he was not headed to India where he said he had only gone once since assuming office.
The Head of State, who has been cataloguing any imaginable stride his government has made on his facebook, has been loudly silent on the kind of investment he is wooing in London.
