Former Defence Minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba today had a feel of the political climate in Kasama Constituency when he took a walk around town.
Mwamba, popularly known as GBM, who has trekked to his constituency said the people of Kasama had demonstrated that they are united and have not been swayed by planted elements that have been sent to the earlier.
Given the Patriotic Front’s push for a by-election, Mwamba seems to be laying the ground for battle.
Below is what he wrote on his facebook page after the tour of Kasama town:
Today is another day. Meeting and walking in town with such a multitude of local residents has been awesome.
Today, Kasama has demonstrated its unity. Our walking through Kasama town was a demonstration of our unity. It is also a clear message to divisive elements sent to Kasama Central to destabilize us that they will be met with people’s resolve. In Kasama Central, we are on the right side of the People.
Thank you Kasama! Thank you Zambia!
