Parliament resumes sitting today after having adjourned sine die.
When the house opens today there could be notable changes with former Defence Minister Geoffrey Mwamba taking the back bench while Ngosa Simbyakula who was recently appointed full cabinet minister will take the front seat as Home Affairs Minister.
There could be notable absentees of the convicted pair of Mufumbwe lawmaker Stephen Masumba and his Chisamba counterpart Moses Muteteka.
The fate of the suspended deputy ministers Rogers Mwewa and Ronald Chitotela will also provide a curious case.
There will also be empty seats on the Petauke Central, Malambo and Mulobezi seats where the lawmakers are currently engaged in a legal tussle with their right to re-contest their seats challenged.
Parliament will in this sitting be expected to ratify the newly appointed Supreme Court judges who are Albert Wood and judge Hamaundu.
