Tourism Minister Sylvia Masebo has continued being exposed at the Judge Rhoydah Kaoma led tribunal with former Zambia Wildlife Association Director Edwin Matokwane revealing that the Chongwe lawmaker directed him to award Willie Nsanda and John Mulwila’s companies hunting licences despite not meeting the criteria.
Matokwane also said Masebo lied when she said wildlife was being airlifted out of the country without any clearance from the authorities.
He singled out Nsanda’s company Chimbwi Safaris that Masebo ordered him to award a hunting licence promising to testify to President Michael Sata as a backup.
Matokwane said he witnessed Masebo order the killing of a buffalo in 2012 without a permit in Livingstone as a political gesture to Livingstone District Commissioner who had asked for a gift for Independence Day celebrations.
Masebo is being probed for alleged abuse of office of authority.
