Under fire Tourism Minister Sylvia Masebo has sought to mobilize safari operators who were denied licences by the dissolved Zambia Wild Life Authority board to render weight to her decision to single handedly dissolve the board.
Masebo who is being probed for alleged breach of the parliamentary and ministerial code of conduct has lined up several witnesses whose only grievance was the fact that their applications were turned down.
Tour operator Gavin Robinson said he was happy that the tenders were cancelled because his had not been granted after he did not append his signature to the bid document.
Masebo also attended to rally back from the charge of ordering the killing of a buffalo in Livingstone without any licence.
She summoned her then personal assistant to tell the tribunal that she signed the licence book before ordering the killing of the buffalo.
Another surprise choice of witness was Christopher Chungu a tour operator whose testimony was that he celebrated when tenders were cancelled because animal species were depleting.
Masebo is expected to close her case on Friday.
