ChipolopoloChipolopolo coach Patrice Beaumelle has expressed delight at the opportunity to play another World Cup bound team.

Speaking bolazambia.com at the Barclays Sports Complex this morning after leading the local lads through the paces at the commencement of the three-day training camp, Beaumelle said he will field his strongest possible side to give the best possible picture of Zambia.

Zambia plays Japan in Florida in an international friendly on June 6 as the Blue Samurai prepare for the Brazil, 2014 Brazil outing.

Beaumelle has taken to holding monthly training camps for local players and said he has his sights on building on a strong team for the September, 2015 Africa Cup qualifiers.

“It will be very good to see the level where we are, I am sure Japan should be ready by then for Brazil,” he said.

“It will be a good test for us and for them. I know that we are not far to this kind of team but we have to be more consistent.”

He added: “You know it is a good opportunity for our boys to show that they will be ready for September.”

Beaumelle said Zambia will once again have a chance as against Brazil to showcase their brand of football.

“The most important is to show a good picture of our football in USA and to give a challenge for the boys,” he said.

“But the most important is to be ready for the qualifier in September it will be tough. I won’t give any gift to anybody I just want to bring the best players to make sure that we qualify for AFCON.”

He also hailed the local players for their commitment to duty as they challenge for places in the Chipolopolo set up.

Twenty one players reported to camp with two missing on the morning session.
